Site not recognizing user name or password
-
I am trying to integrate my site with Go Daddy and it finds the site but will not accept the user name and password. I went in and changed the password but still no luck. I’ve tried my email and user name as well. When I click on the site as a visitor it looks like a new wordpress site. I can’t access the admin panel for the particular site, it says nothing is there.
Go Daddy is no help. They had removed the ssl certificate to set up a new one in the migration and my computer wouldn’t open the site at all, saying it was unsafe. This was when I could access the login window, which I now can not.
Any ideas on how to find my site and credentials it thinks it needs?

Hi there,
Can you explain in more detail exactly what you mean when you speak of integrating your site with GoDaddy? What site are you speaking of?
If you’re referring to a site hosted with us on WordPress.com, there is no way to integrate or connect to it on GoDaddy’s end. The only way to access a WordPress.com site, is by logging into your WordPress.com username account here with us.
If you’re referring to a WordPress site that you’re hosting with GoDaddy, then we’re not able to help, as we have no control at all over your login details for that site. Your admin credentials for that site are stored directly in the site’s database on GoDaddy’s servers, where we have no access.
You can see the password reset instructions for your version of WordPress at https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/
For more help with this, please ask the WordPress.org community for advice at https://wordpress.org/support/forums. For access to the database, you’ll need to contact GoDaddy support again, as only they can provide you with the PHPMyAdmin credentials for your site.
