site not showing on google after about 8 weeks

  I created a site for a neighbour who has a hair salon. http://bluedoorhairboutique.wordpress.com

  After many weeks, it’s still not showing in any search engines. I’ve checking the settings. Will paying for the domain name help? My own personal site is working fine.

  There is no activity on that blog. There are no posts at all so that’s not surprising. It takes time and the frequent publication of fresh content that cannot be found elsewhere on the internet to get search engine attention. The amount of traffic, backlinks and accruing authority the blog receives due to the activity on posts then effects where the posts are positioned in SERPS (search engine page results). http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
