  I sent a xml file created with an export from the wordpress included in the Microsoft webmatrix

  You only wait 24 hours and then post here if the import has not completed. Sometimes the importer gets stuck and this thread has been tagged for Staff to reset it for you. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

  P.S. The sources you can import from are Blogger, Israblog, LiveJournal, Movable Type, Posterous, Storylane, Tumblr, Typepad, WordPress, Xanga, and Yahoo! 360. https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  Not meaning to be rude but, hace you read my 2nd post? I said its a wordpress import from another wordpress, the only difference is that the imported one has been created with Microsoft webmatrix.

  Yes I read that and yes I tagged this thread for Staff to reset the importer for you. So all you need to do now is practice patience while waiting for that to happen.

  Hi there,

  Sorry for the trouble! I just reset your site’s importer so you can try that import again.

  However, I noticed that the export file you created comes from a locally hosted site (hosted locally on a computer instead of publicly on a website host). Please note that any images you have on that locally hosted site can’t be imported into your site here — the importer is only able to import images if they are available publicly.

  Please let me know if you have any questions about that!
