Site Not Updating

  I have been trying to update the surf.stanford.edu website for several weeks now, and it is still not working. Here is the error message I keep receiving:

  Downloading update from https://downloads.wordpress.org/release/wordpress-6.1-new-bundled.zip…

  The authenticity of wordpress-6.1-new-bundled.zip could not be verified as no signature was found.

  Unpacking the update…

  Could not create directory.

  Installation failed.

  I am also unable to update plugins. I am starting to notice that not updating the website is negatively impacting the website’s speed and ability. Would you be able to help me troubleshoot this? Thanks!
