Site not visible

In 2016 I paid for a domain name for this site for 10 years and we created and launched the site. I haven’t checked on it for quite a while but cannot find it now- Google says it doesn’t exist. What do I need to do to get it back up?

What is the URL of your site as you can’t pay for 10 years on the wordpress.com platform.

I bought companyofimagination.co.uk from 123 Reg in 2016 and paid for 10 years. I think I have the free version of WordPress but assumed it would stay up there until I deleted it or renewed. What else do I have to do?

While your
companyofimagination.co.ukdomain is still active with 123-Reg, it is not associated with yourcompanyofimagination.wordpress.comsite, as a plan upgrade is required to connect a domain registered elsewhere. To connect your domain, please start by upgrading to a Personal plan or higher. This can be done by going to Upgrades → Plans. Once upgraded, you can connect your domain. Here’s how: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
I hope that helps and please reach out again if you have any further questions.
