site not working

  Hi, We had someone create a wordpress site for us http://kids2kidsweb.wordpress.com. The domain is registed and will be hosted by Netfirms. I went into Netfirms and changed the Nameservers to the 3 following ones: ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com and ns3.wordpress.com. I was told it would take a few hours to 72 hours for the site http://www.kids2kids.ca to be up and running. It has now been 9 days and it is still not up!!! My internet guy tried to ping the site and got nothing back. He thinks the issue might be with WordPress. Any suggestions please.

  Did you purchase the domain mapping upgrade from wordpress? You need that to point the custom domain to your blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
