Site not working after downgrade

  Hi, I was on a paid plan and using a custom domain for my site, but I’ve just downgraded my plan to the free version. When I try to access the WordPress url https://wolvercotecraftfair.wordpress.com I get an error message –

  ‘Something unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.’

  I thought it might just be taking a while to update, but it’s still happening 24 hours later.

  Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

  Your site works fine for me. Clearing your browser cache should solve that problem.

  Hey there,
  As @staartmees mentioned, this looks like a caching issue, it’s loading correctly for me too. Here’s a screenshot of how it looks on my end:

  You could try viewing the site on a different device or network to see if the issue persists – sometimes it’s related to ISP-level caching.

  That said, I’d love to understand more about why you decided to cancel the plan and subscription. Was there anything that didn’t work as expected, or something we could have done better?
