Site only updates when logged in as admin
-
Hi! I’m new to wordpress and working on my first project, but as I was finishing I ran into an issue. After logging out to view the final website, I noticed that most pages other than the homepage had not updated. One example of this is the donations page, which still displays the “Donations are currently unavailable” error I had already removed. Upon logging back in, the page returned to normal, not displaying the error and all links functioning. I tried viewing the website on other devices I had never logged into before and still, the page appeared not updated. Thank you for any responses!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
It appears that your website was hosted with a 3rd party service and not hosted here on WordPress.com, the hosting provider.
To better understand the differences between WordPress.com (where you’ve posted) and the open source WordPress software, you’re welcome to read this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.
I hope that helps ;)

I had a similar experience when working on my first WordPress project, so I totally get your frustration. In my case, the issue was related to caching. What you’re seeing is likely a cached version of the page. Try clearing your site cache and browser cache, or disable any caching plugins temporarily. It worked for me when I was testing some Rocketplay Canada promo content — the homepage looked great, but subpages weren’t updating until I cleared the cache. Hope that helps!

Hi @natemoore1109,
I just tested the donation process to see if it’s working, and it succeeded (I just didn’t complete the donation) in both options. The issue might have been a cache issue.
Please, let us know if the issue persists.
