Site owner vs admin.

Just wondering if it is possible to switch the owner of the website. I’m just getting started here building a website for a friend. I will be the one building and creating the content but eventually training and handing over the reigns. Wondering if, in the future, she will be able to take over as ‘owner’ of the website instead of myself. Or… is it easier to setup the website account under her email address and add myself as an admin to her account?

Hello there, if you wish to transfer the blog ownership to your friend, she’ll need to have a WordPress.com account.

After the transfer, you may request her to add you as an admin to the site.
