Site Password
-
Hello – I just signed up an account and everything seems to work just fine. I would like to add a password so that only certain people I give the password out to can log into and view the blog site. Could you please let me know how to do this? Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
We offer a privacy feature similar to what you describe. In your Settings > Reading page, there’s a setting called “Site Visibility Options.”
Read about that setting here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/#site-visibility-options
You can enable your site to be private, but to be accessed by specific users. Each user will have to create their own log-in, and they will create their own username and password if they do not already have a WordPress.com account. You won’t have to manage a password for everyone, you’ll just need to invite each reader to your blog.
If you choose to enable that option, follow these instructions to invite your readers:
Let me know if you have more questions about the available privacy settings.
Best,
