Site Password Granting Site Admin Access

    My site is password protected and the password is given out to customers. However, when they sign in with the password, they are given site admin rights. How can I avoid this? I only want them to be able to see the website, not make changes.

    First, change your administrator password so that your customers don’t have access to it anymore.

    Next, you should make your site invisible by going to Settings – Reading and look for Site Visibility.

    Set this to “I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose” and you will be given the option to invite viewers to your blog.
