Site Redesign

  A friend has asked me to redesign his site. He is a currently a wordpress user like me. I have an upgraded plan and will also upgrade him. My site is CycleForecasting.com and his is EraseMyArrest.com.

  How do I redesign his site off line – then bring it live and move his domain over to you? Or what approach should I use. His site has coding (used a consultant). I don’t want to mess up his site by touching it until after I am finished – I just want to redesign it. I have access to his dashboard so I can cut and past essential text to the new wordpress site.

  WordPress.com sites cannot be altered in an offline state.

  You could open another WordPress.com blog, purchase a Custom Design upgrade, and work with your changes there. Then, when you’re done with that, copy and paste the new CSS changes into the desired blog.
