Site Redirect

  Why doesn’t the site redirect work? I purchased it and it only takes my articles to the homepage of my new site and not to where the content was moved to? The permalink is identical minus the date stamp in the permalink. Any advise to fix this or is it something that can’t be corrected. Thanks in advance.

  I see that http://macrischoolofmusic.wordpress.com/ redirects to http://macrimusic.com/blog. The new site http://macrimusic.com/blog does not appear to be a WordPress site. There is not much we can do for you at that point.

  Looks like http://macrimusic.com is hosted on a different provider, and not WordPress.com. If you need help with a self hosted WordPress site, please post your question on the WordPress forum here.

  Did you modify anything on your wordpress.com site http://macrischoolofmusic.wordpress.com/ to redirect it?

  Minus the date stamp is not identical, the target must be exactly the same, else you need to do extra work on your new site to put a second set of redirects to fix the different links – seems to me that can be done in the httaccess file, but we cant’ help you with that
