site redirect

  Hi,

  I’ve moved to my own hosted server at http://www.bellesrealitybytes.com and trying to redirect my bellesrealitybytes.wordpress.com to it using the site redirect functionality. Whatever I try, I get the error ‘Your blog cannot be redirected to that URL. Please make sure the URL is valid.’

  Any ideas?

  Hi,
  I looked through other forum threads about this and found three ways that others solved the problem:

  1. Clear your browser cache and WordPress.com cookies and restart your browser.
  2. Temporarily disable any plugins on your self-hosted site that limit access (such as Bulletproof Security).
  3. If neither of those work, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread. That will alert a staff member that you need assistance with this issue.
