  Today, I purchased a redirect service from WordPress so that visitors to my current blog will be automatically be redirected to my new site. The charge went through my Paypal, but I’m not sure when the redirect will start working. Should I just be patient?

  It can take up to 72 hours for a site redirect to propagate throughout the internet. https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
