Site Redirect and SSL

  Hello,

  I was looking into the Site Redirect feature and had a few questions. I would like to redirect my .com content to my new self-hosted .org page.

  My new page will have an SSL cert.

  I see a note on the Site Redirect feature that says that the site redirect will only point to a non-ssl url? Is there a way to still use this redirect or do I need to utilize a separate 301 redirect plugin to accomplish?

  Just checking back in on a hopeful resolution. My move is set to occur come March so now I’m against the clock.
