Site Redirect – DNS incorrect?

I’m setting up a redirect and getting an error message that my DNS is not set up correctly. I hit okay and tried again and the redirect is working. Is there going to be some problem down the line?

Also, where can I look to correct my DNS settings? Is it with the domain name that I purchased through GoDaddy? What would be wrong with it?

    error message:

“It looks like the DNS for alanajonesmann.com is not setup correctly (the URL I’m redirecting to). This could cause your site to become inaccessible. Please visit your My Upgrades page for more information.”

So… what i’m assuming is it’s telling me I won’t be able to get to my wordpress blog anymore. But that’s okay because I have a new blog setup on the redirect domain, and I won’t need to access my old blog anymore anyway.

Is that all it’s telling me?

    Hi there,

Are you trying to point your WordPress.com blog to a site hosted elsewhere, or are you trying to use the domain alanajonesmann.com for your WordPress.com blog?

In other words, when someone goes to alanajonesmann.com, should they end up on WordPress.com or elsewhere?
