Site Redirect Issue
-
The issue i am having is that i redirected my blog http://www.deliciousanddiy.wordpresscom to http://www.deliciousanddiy.com using the wordpress site redirect option.
Most of my traffic come from Pinterest and the Pins that i had shared from my previous blog ( which is now redirected to the new site) when you click on the Pin it doesn’t take you the new site but displays an Error Page Not Found. Can anyone help me out with this issue i don’t know if this is the place to ask but i really need help. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
In order for this to work correctly, the post URLs on your self-hosted site need to match the ones at WordPress.com. Currently, they don’t match-up very well:

To fix this on your self-hosted site, navigate to your dashboard at deliciousanddiy.com/wp-admin. Then, go to Settings -> Permalinks and select the option for “Day and name”. Click “Save Changes”. Then, clear your browser cache. Instructions can be found here:
That should create the effect you’re looking for. Can you give that a try?

Hi there,
The will just see a “Page Not Found” error. If you choose not to renew your Site Redirect upgrade, they will be directed to the page on your WordPress.com site. However, if you delete your WordPress.com site, they will see a “Page Not Found” message.
