Site Redirect Issues

    Trying to redirect my free WordPress blog site to our new self-hosted blog. The new site is gofranklingo.com/blog. When I try to enter that on the ‘Redirect a Site’ page, I get an error that ‘Sorry but gofranklingo.com/blog does not end with a valid domain extension.’ So I tried entering gofranklingo.com/blog/index.php (another valid URL, and really what’s needed based on the help page contents that talk about permalinks and ensuring they work on redirects), and it says ‘There is a problem adding Site Redirect that points to gofranklingo.com/blog/index.php.’ What do I do now to get it to work? I’m stuck!!
