Site Redirect not taking effect – what am I doing wrong?

    Hi,
    I purchased a Site Redirect upgrade that I intended to redirect “therandompenguins.com” to a Tumblr site that’s basically duplicate content: “tumblr.com/therandompenguins” (I only need one of them, and my publisher would like it to be the Tumblr). I thought I was following instructions correctly to get the redirect set up, but somehow I’m not seeing it on my domains list and when I type in “therandompenguins.com” it’s still landing on the WP site instead of redirecting to the Tumblr. Help??

    Hi there. The site redirect only applies to the underlying WordPress.com URL, not to the custom domain. If you want the custom domain to link to your Tumblr blog, you’ll need to map the domain to your Tumblr site.

    You’ll probably need to read Tumblr’s documentation as well to find out if and how they allow domain mapping.
