Site Redirect – permalink redirection

  Before I purchase the Site Direct upgrade, I need to make sure it’s going to work properly for the permalinks.

  The forced structure of WordPress.com permalinks is: site/year/month/date/post-name

  The new file structure, at the new self-hosted site, will be: site/post-name

  Will the old site permalinks redirect to the new ones, despite the change in permalink structure?
