Site Redirect – Transfer between wordpress sites

Yesterday I transferred site redirect from ckgreene.com to waterfromthewells.com. The transfer is showing up on my upgrades page but not on the domain pages, so I can’t actually use it yet. When will it show up on my domain page so I can start using the feature again?

Hi there,
Part of the issue is that you have a custom domain associated with that site, which effectively has a site redirect built-in.
Where are you wanting waterfromthewells.com to redirect to?
If it’s to another WordPress.com blog, I’ll transfer the domain waterfromthewells.com to be associated with that blog, then setup your site redirect upgrade to point the free site waterfromthewells.wordpress.com to redirect to the appropriate primary domain.
If it’s to a site outside of WordPress.com, you can point waterfromthewells.com to that service using Custom DNS settings, and the site redirect is unnecessary.
Please let me know and I’ll help you get this setup appropriately.

I’ve transferred waterfromthewells.com to be associated with the same blog as ckgreene.com — ckgreene.com is the primary domain so that is what your readers will see.

The Site Redirect upgrade on waterfromthewells.wordpress.com now points to ckgreene.com as well.
