"Site Redirect Upgrade" Necessity?

    I am looking to change my blog address to match my newly named blog title.

    As I am in the very beginning stages of my blog (I’ve done very little sharing of it thus far, and only have about 7 posts, all of which I’ve posted in the last week and 1/2 or so…), would the “Site Redirect” upgrade be necessary for me?

    And will all of my current posts (both published AND drafts) remain intact?

    Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! I’m a newbie at this!
