Site redirect – will the new domain show up on google?

    I used the site redirect uprgrade to point bostonbikepolo.wordpress.com to bostonbikepolo.us

    it is working wonderfully. my site is still high on google for the keyword “bike polo”. however, when it shows up on google it still shows up with the domain “bostonbikepolo.wordpress.com”

    will this ever change to the domain it has been redirected to (bostonbikepolo.us)?

    It will take time and the frequent publication of new posts under the new domain URL to push the old data in the Google SERPs (search page results) down the page.
