  I’m curious, I’ve looked through the forums and haven’t found this answer to my question.

  On my Stats page, the “referrers” listed are completely unrelated webpages that I’m not listed on, I haven’t commented on, and I’ve never even been to, yet I’m getting 16 references from them (which isn’t bad, of course), I’m just wondering why and how?

  I’ve checked you referrers and at least some of them look like they could be spam. I’ve noticed the spam team, which will look into blocking those.

  In the future, if you detect any other suspicious referrers on your stats, please get in touch with us privately (if the option presents itself), so that we can take immediate action.
