I’m getting a lot of email saying folks are new registers to my site, is this true or have I been hacked? Usually when folks sign-up via my landing page the emails look different and its pushed to my mailchimp account. Not so here.

What is the URL of the site? I’m asking because what you describe is usually an issue with wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, not on sites hosted by wordpress.com like http://interviewlook.wordpress.com/
Type the URL into http://www.whoishostingthis.com/ to confirm where it is hosted.
This is wordpress.COM support. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
