I recently tried to access my site and found a notice saying it has expired. I have NOT had an email notification even though my email address is correct.
On going to upgrade i find my site is not listed and I can therefore not renew. Please advise how I go about finding my site and renewing it

Are you logged in under the exact same username account that registered the underlying .wordpress.com URL and purchased the upgrade for it?

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog to access the blog’s dashboard, renew or cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/
If you are not logged in under the correct username account clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login under the correct username account.
If you do not have the required access and someone else registered the site you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it and have them transfer the site and upgrade to your username account by using this process.

The domain landrover90silkroad.com is owned by bytimgrubb. The renewal emails were sent to the email address on that account, not the one you are logged in to (raygrubb47).
bytimgrubb can renew the domain from their Manage Purchases page:
