    I let my site sit unrenewed for about two-three weeks. Once I re-upped, however, my login no longer works and the content seems to have disappeared. How can I resolve this problem?

    Yes, a full address does help. If you mean pittsburghsportscastle.com that site says:

    a bluehost powered website

    This is the support forum for free sites hosted at WordPress.com. You’ll need to ask BlueHost if they have a backup of your content if you let the domain expire.

    If you’re speaking of a self-hosted WordPress site at another hosting provider, then your hosting provider most likely deleted your site from their servers when you let your hosting account lapse. In that case, your hosting provider hopefully still has a backup of your site on their system that they can restore for you. If they don’t, your site is most likely gone.
