  Will my site disappear if I don’t pay the renewal fee?

  Hi there,

  I believe you’re referring to the domain bikearoundthelakeblog.com. If so, no, your content will not disappear if you do not renew your domain. All of your content is safe at bikearoundthelakeblog.wordpress.com. However, your content will no longer be available at that custom domain if you choose not to renew. Your domain will eventually be sent to auction and may be sold to another user.

  If you end up wanting to renew your domain, I’d recommend doing it before the expiration date. A week after the domain expires, a late fee is added to the cost of the renewal ($80) so I don’t want you to get stuck paying that! If you definitely don’t want the domain, you can cancel it from your My Upgrades page closer to the expiration date. That page can be found here:
