Site requiring update

Let me summarize what happened. Yesterday I discovered that my domain kurvenal.com had been upgraded without my request. Why I cannot figure out. Anyway I didn’t need this upgrade so I cancelled it. It turns out that now my site cannot be accessed anymore and a message states that an upgrade is required: how nobody knows since under the ‘domain” tag of my profile no upgrade is possible: only another domain name (ludicrously kur-venal) was offered which obviously I tested and rejected. Now I want to go back where everything started with my domain “normally” accesiblesince the upgrade was neither requested nor wanted. Please notice that this situation is causing me a big chaos and I’m receiving tenths of emails complaining for this misbehaviour which by no means is my responsibility. I want also complain for the lack of support: there are cases, like this one (site locked down) which should require a prompt intervention but this has not been the case.

Hi there, I can see you renewed the domain the other day, then immediately cancelled it.
If you cancel it, you won’t be able to use it, and you won’t be able to reregister it right away either because it goes into a redemption process:
Do you want us to send an invoice for the domain price so we can try to get it back for you?

I should add — the domain auto-renewed so you could use it. That was automatic, and it happens a month prior to expiration so we can have time to cancel / adjust billing if needed before the domain expires.
But you do need to pay for a domain each year to continue using it. When you cancel, you won’t be able to use it again. Let us know what your intention is there.

URGENT !!! On Sunday I received an email from Lorenzo. I answered but no reply. There is been a great misunderstanding . I want to renew my domain KURVENAL.COM and cancel the domain KURVENAL.BLOG. I just want to be sure that people digiting KURVENAL.COM can access my site KURVENAL.WORDPRESS.COM . It is urgent because today expires my right to cancel KURVENAL.BLOG. Nobody had informed me that from now on a domain must be separately paid fromt the normal yearly registration IT IS URGENT!!!! PLEASE RENEW KURVENAL.COM AND INFORM ME – SEND ME THE INVOICE
