Site Restored to May 2020?

    Hi!
    We recently checked our site and not only did our premium subscription abruptly end, but our content and theme was reverted back to May of 2020. Can you please help us restore to our original site?

    Hi Sarah,

    As you’ve now added a new Business Plan to the site, you should be able to restore a backup of the site from before it was reverted yesterday. Please contact our live chat support team at https://wordpress.com/help/contact for help with that process.

    The account you’re using to post here has never owned any upgrades on WordPress.com prior to the Business Plan which you bought a few minutes after creating this forum thread.

    The previous Business Plan on the site belonged to another admin, and also the owner of the site, soundigest. We sent the first renewal reminder email to the owner of that account on 23 September, with subsequent emails being sent when automatic renewal failed. Auto-renew failed because the credit card we have on file for the account was declined by the credit card provider.

    The plan expired on 23 November, at which point we sent a final email, and then the plan was removed from the site yesterday, at which point it was downgraded to the free plan and reverted to how it was before any plugins were installed on it.

    I hope that clarifies what happened, but let me know if you have any other questions.
