site revamp – changing theme/hiding updates

    Hi,

    I am thinking of doing a site revamp. The theme would be changed, there will be different menu items and new pages.

    How do I go about all these changes and previewing them (which may take weeks) but yet keep them hidden from the public until it is ready to go live?

    I have tried contacting support but have not received any reply from them so far.

    Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

    You can create a custom menu and include only the Pages you wish to display in it. When you have completed work on the new pages you create you can then include them in your custom menu.

    Switching blog themes takes only minutes. When you switch theme all the widgets you currently use are automatically sent to the Inactive Widgets box here > Appearance > Widgets. After you switch themes you simply drag and drop them into place in the sidebars or footer area as the case may be. Then you visit your custom menu page and include the new pages that you have completed in the custom menu.
