Site showing not eligible

Hello, I was trying to apply for WordAds for my blog, but when I logged in to apply it says my blog is not eligible. I do not understand… I believe I meet all of the criteria listed. http://www.sourballpython.com/blog – is it because it is hosted in a sub folder of my domain? Jetpack is installed, I am the owner and it is a public blog. Any direction you can give me would be great. Thank you! Kris

  • Hi there,

According to our system the owner of your site is the username, sourballpython. That is the username that originally created the connection between Jetpack and WordPress.com, so our system, including WordAds, sees that username as the owner.

Is that username also yours? In that case, can you log in as that username and post here to request that I transfer the site’s ownership to your username instead.

Otherwise you’ll need to contact Jetpack support directly for help with this, as they have more knowledge of this particular issue and the correct procedures that need to be followed:

Hello, Yes. I own both usernames. I did not realize it was originally registered under this one… sourballpython. Could you please transfer ownership to kristinad74 so I can consolidate the accounts and move forward with WordAds?

Thank you very much for your help! Kris

  • Thank you for confirming. I’ve transferred ownership of the Jetpack connection to @kristinad74, so you should now be able to apply for WordAds using that account.
