site slow to load

my site is slow to load I am having trouble with loading my site. I have written before. The site is http://www.halfmoonyoga.org it is a wordpress.com site. with Ping test it takes 44 seconds to load. It times out for me. Sometimes it is fast but mostly it times out before it loads. I have cleared cache and cookies several times. I changed themes. I checked my photos they are no too big. I am not sure what else to do can you help please my friends?

Looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet. Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I spent some time with my host, open host who explained that the name servers are pointing to the correct IP address, ( the same ones as yours would). They also told me if I changed the name servers as above not only would it make no difference to speed but I would lose my email facilities. I live in NZ so I know there is a delay but sometimes like now at 12.27 pm my site won’t load or crashes. This would be a busy time for you. I did a pingdom test and it is 97% slower than all other tested. Can you help resolve this issue please?

Currently the name server records are still pointed to ‘Openhost.net.nz’. I recommend changing this to the name server records I posted before in order to map the domain to your WordPress.com.
To get the e-mail redirect working, please request the e-mail MX records from your host and send these to me.

I’m very sorry but it’s me again. The trick with the nameservers worked for a while and now I can’t get on to my site at all. I got this from pingdom.www.halfmoonyoga.org
is it possible that my hosts ‘Open host’ have the problem and would moving to a different provider fix it? They still maintain it is wordpress that has the problem. sorry I thought it was fixed.Tested from Amsterdam, Netherlands on May 18 at 12:45:36

I just did several ping tests from Amsterdam and New York and I got results that your website is faster than 70 to 80% of all tested websites.
When checking your nameservers it somehow says it’s still pointed to Open Host: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=halfmoonyoga.org . You might want to check with your domain registrar to see why this isn’t set correctly.

Hello Happiness I contacted the domain registrar and they said the site was going through wildwest domains is that you? If so they said they can’t change the name servers and you need to do it. I’m sorry to bother you again but I can’t access my site at all from my computer.

When looking at the name servers I must have mixed up halfmoonyoga.co.nz and halfmoonyoga.org. I logged into your domain control panel and corrected the nameservers for your halfmoonyoga.org site. It might take a little while before they are propagated.
