Site speed loading

  Hi there, I have been trying to adjust my one image, making it smaller and optimizing it. I’ve read several articles but it is still not loading. I thought with the SEO that it would do that and make sure it loads fast. I only have one image on my new site so it’s frustrating that it won’t load.
