Site Statistics Not Working?

  I’ve gotten a number of likes on today’s post, but my site statistics aren’t showing any views for today. Not everyone who’s liked the post was already a follower. Is there a site-wide glitch, or is it just my blog?

  I’m still somewhat new to WordPress, so if this isn’t the place to ask this, could someone please point me in the right direction?

  The stats are not real time stats. Activity is cached and updates over time. It takes time before the stats being collected are reflected in the reported stats here site stats. For a better understanding you can read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/

  Hi, timethief. Thanks for the info. What seems odd today, though, is that several hours passed without any views being recorded. Normally I see the stats updating more quickly than that. That’s what made me wonder if there’s something different happening today.

  If there is something odd going on with stats know that Volunteers answering questions on this peer support forum do not have backend access to blogs and are unable to help with an such issue.
