  Does the number recorded for “view” indicate the number of people who viewed my blog or the number of people who opened and read the email I send when a new post is made?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I think it is the number of people who viewed your blog. Reading email is not same as viewing blog although they are reading your blog in the email. Unless they click on the link in your email that leads to your blog post, they are not really visiting your blog. Hope this makes sense :-)
