Site Stats are Bonkers
-
First time I really checked. Site stats are showing 1 visitor and 30 views. But in the country breakdown it shows 3 from UK and 27 from US! Now how do you have 1 (ONE) visitor from two continents???
I also have a flag counter and it has shown several different states in the last hour. So how is WordPress stats coming up with just 1 visitor????
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

One possible answer is that Stats don’t count search engines as visitors, but does count them as views.

So let’s say one visitor from the UK actually visited your site and viewed 3 items, and Google crawled your site and accessed 27 items (photos, etc.). You would have one visitor, and 30 views, even though the views were from different countries (as Google’s servers are primarily in the US).

And this is showing the wrong blog though it may be doing the same thing. That one does not have a separate flag counter so I cannot check accuracy of wordpress stats.
