Site Stats: Followers
-
When I post, my followers recieve an email. When they read the post in the email does it count in my stats?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
No, I’m pretty sure they have to view a url based from YOUR site, not from your email provider.
BUT, if they click on the post in their email and it goes to your blog, you get stats, and that will show up as “referrers” and it will say Gmail or Yahoo or whatever email provider you use referred [x] amount of people to your blog.

You get no page views for someone reading the email – set your feed to Summery
Settings >> Reading >> For each article in a feed, show – Summery
Then they will need to visit your site to read the whole Post – also makes the email smaller which is important if you have a lot of pictures.

My comment followers are not counted as followers in the “follow blog” widget. However they are counted as followers in stat page. Why?
