Site Stats Followers Does Not Match Followers Widget

    Hello. The number of followers on my Site Stats page lists a total of 11– but the Followers widget on my actual website shows only 1 and hasn’t budged since I created the page.

    Please help!

    Hi there – It looks like that button only displays the count of WordPress.com followers (users who follow you while logged into their WordPress.com account), not email subscribers (users who follow you while not logged in). You have 1 WordPress.com follower and 10 email followers.

    The Follow Blog Widget displays the entire count, as well as publicize followers:

    I’ve suggested to the developers that the Follow Button count be modified to reflect those followers, also. :)
