Site stats have been reduced?

  I’ve run this blog for about a year now and a few months and got 8+ million hits, up until yesterday though when my count has been lowered to 189,268. Any idea why? Is there a bug going on?

  Even when I go to my stats it only tells Me^^ my total hits have been 189,268 and that’s totally not eight because we had over 8 million hits the other day and even announced it through twitter.

  Hope this is just a bug, I don’t want our stats lost.
