site stats have stopped appearing

Site stats have stopped appearing on my site since Sept. 4. I’ve visited it from other computers to see if anything is recorded and nothing has been. Please advise.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @laxwriter2010, I see one visit on the 9th, but I also don’t see a lot of stats previously. Did this site you’ve listed used to get a lot of traffic?
-
The site you have listed here is not the site I put on the form. The correct site is: robertlax.com. I have regularly had 20+ hits a day on that site. In fact, I can’t remember more than a half-dozen times I didn’t have a hit on the site every day. Is it possible for you to speed up work on this? I’ve been without stats for over a week now.

I’ve had a look and can see that the site in question is actually being hosted by BlueHost rather than WordPress.com. The site is not making use of our Jetpack plugin either which records statistics. But, we don’t have any access to provide you with further help.
Because the site uses the open source WordPress.org software you will find help from the community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

I DO have the Jetpack plugin on the site and I’ve kept it up to date–that’s what’s been giving me statistics for the past four years! You are looking at robertlax.com, right? This is not helpful. In fact, it’s very frustrating. Is there some way to contact someone in real time and get real help with this?

You might have the Jetpack plugin installed, but it’s not reporting as connected, you can check at https://jetpack.com/support/debug/
Please try disconnecting Jetpack from WordPress.com at Jetpack > Dashboard > Site Connection > Manage Site Connection in your site’s Dashboard, then connect again when prompted.
Jetpack is what records the stats, so an active connection is required.

Did you manage to solve it?
I had a simular problem with the Jetpack plugin
This is how I solved it:1 In the Jetpack menu on the Dashboard.
On the bottom of the page there is a debug option. click on it.2 In the lower part of the screen there is a link called:
click to access the full module list3 From there I deactivated and then activated the stats option.
I now see new visitors so it looks like the problem have been solved.
