site stats not showing up in statistics dashboard

  For the past few days, something suspicious is happening:
  I cannot see the total count and list of blog posts readers have viewed in my backend Statistics dashboard for my blog.

  Even if they click on outbound links, that should register a visit to a blog post. Please help!

  Note: wordpress.com efforts to keep out hackers are most appreciated.
