Site Stats page locks up – help!

  Seems like WordPress redesigned its Site Stats page in the last week or two. Now whenever I’m on my website and I click on the Site Views Per Hour tool in the top left hand side of my screen and it takes me to the Site Stats page, the page locks up. I can’t click on anything. All I can do is close the tab and open a new one to get back to my website. This has happened at least a dozen times in the past week. What gives?

  Can you access your stats page on your own dashboard by clicking the little sparklines graph?

  Or can you access it by using the site stats link http://sparkleize2.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats in the drop down on the Admin bar the far right hand side under your gravatar?

  Or can you try and see if you can click through using this link?http://m.wordpress.com/

  I was trying to provide alternatives to viewing your stats on the WordPress.com home page. Is that where you are viewing them now? Is that where you experience this issue?

  I’m reading my stats on my Site Stats page. The problem is that when I arrive there, I cannot scroll up or down, and I cannot click on anything. The whole page freezes every time, and I have to close the whole tab. Chrome tells me the pages are “unresponsive”. This doesn’t happen with any other page on any other website – only the WordPress Site Stats page.

  Eaxctly which version are you running. I’m discovering a lot of bloggers are using 18 when in fact 17 is the moste stable version. 18 is a BETA version and BETA = buggy

  Yup, I am running 18.0.1025.39

  OK, so maybe that is the problem.

  Yes, I just tried the Site Stats page again in the latest version of Firefox, and it works great.
