Site Stats Page Question
-
On the Site Stats page, there used to be information under the heading, General (lower left of page). As of about a week ago, the heading remains, but has not info under it, like number of subscribers. How can I get this info to reappear?
Thank you,
Kathleen

Hi Kathleen,
It’s still showing on my blogs. Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies, restarting your browser?

Also make sure that “General” is checked in “Screen Options” (top right of your screen) -
Hi Tess,
Thanks for responding.
General was already checked. I cleared cache and cookies, but it made no difference. Still no info under General.
I turn off my computer every day, so that is “restarting the browser”, right? -
I’ve had the same problem. No people who visited stats, no referral stats, no any kind of stat. It keeps saying “loading”, but nothing ever loads there, no matter how long I wait. I can still see the number of posts, comments, etc…..but I really like to see the stats!

For about a week, my site stats page has been a jumble. All the columns overlap each other and it’s really hard to read because of all the words flowing into each other. Other pages seem normal. I’ve tried to figure out a way to get the stats page back to normal, but haven’t figured anything out. Is anyone else having this problem?
-
@bostonvisualart: Hi. From the stats page you are referring to, click on Screen options on top and if your number of columns is set to 3, change it back to 2.

Tess,
I contacted Support. James gave me the solution: hover my mouse over the right side of the gray bar with the word “General”. A little triangle appears. Click the triangle, Voila, everything restored! He said it had “collapsed”, I just needed to open it.
Just sharing this with you in case it comes up again.

Hi airodyssey,
Thanks for your reply. I clicked on Screen Options as you suggested, but see nothing that refers to columns. It may be that it’s too hard to see because of all the overlapping words, but I really can’t find it.

@bostonvisualart: Have you tried another browser, emptied your cache memory and deleted your cookies? (the usual browser troubleshooting)

Other than that, I don’t know what else to suggest. If another volunteer has other ideas, perhaps they can help. -
No real ideas but the “Columns” is not an option on my Stats page so I don’t think you are missing anything – there is a Columns option for the front main Dashboard page and several others.
Might be time to ask Staff for their help: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

@auxclass: That was going to be my next suggestion (to contact staff), thanks for reassuring me :-)
@bostonvisualart: May I suggest that you take a screenshot of what you are seeing, upload it to your media library (or elsewhere) and include the link with your question to staff? I’m sure it would help them.
