  When I first set up the site wordswithoutwalls, I typed in the wrong email address. I typed in ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ It should have been ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff). Now the set up process seems to be stuck waiting for an email confirmation from the ‘drjohnphd’ email, which, as far as I know, does not exist.

  What needs to be done. Please reply to ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’

  While logged into your account, go to account settings and correct your email address: https://wordpress.com/me/account

  When you click the “Save Account Settings” button, there’ll be a message saying that there’s a pending change. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the link within to verify your email address. The old address just gets a notice saying the change has been requested. There isn’t a confirmation link included in that one so you don’t need access to that account.

  If you signed up using Gravatar, sign in there first. Then go to WordPress.com and update your email address.

  If none of that works, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.
