Site still private

  My wordpress site figures still as private although I changed it to public – why does the URL show that it is still private and that the user must register in order to see it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I can access your site so it is no longer private.

  Are you seeing the same behavior in a different browser?

  I have a similar problem. My blog should be completely public. When a viewer tries to share in Facebook, the site appears as protected. I looked everywhere, nothing is private: the blog, the pages, the posts…

  Yes, I have the problem in Safari and Mozilla.

  Exactly, when sharing in FB or elsewhere, the preview looks awful.

  Thanks a lot, I just published it today, using a “trick”:
  I made a screenshot of the starting page and posted the general URL, not using the preview suggested by the browser, but my own preview :-)
