Site suspended due to author being hacked

On Friday night, one of our authors’ accounts was breached by use of what we think to be a RAT. The person who gained access to that author’s account proceeded to post pornography and several other types of obscenities on our website. Upon learning of this, our administrators quickly regained control, removed the offending author, and deleted all posts he made. Around 3:10 this afternoon, we discovered our site had been suspended as a result of the malicious attack on our author. We believe that the people who reported our blog were the two attackers, as two people were involved, in order to effectively sabotage our website. Now, our website in NO WAY supports this type of disgusting content, and the fact that someone posted it on our website infuriated my administrators and I. We are a site based off of something that is for children, so this was especially disgusting. Can our blog be unsuspended? Thank you for the help ahead of time.

The suspension notice / Banner has a “click here to contact us” you need to contact the Terms of Service people with that link to ask them – that link should always work.

WordPress.COM policy is not to discuss TOS violations in the Forum and us unpaid volunteer helpers can’t return your site anyway. You might also review the following links for more information on what might have happened. Mistakes are sometimes made but you need to talk with the TOS people.
