  Hi

  I have updated the site tagline and clear cache and re-set safary, but still any time that I type my name in a web searcher, my site is shown with the old tagline. Could you please assist me with this?

  Hi Lydia,

  WordPress.com notifies search engines about updates on your site, but we can’t directly control what appears in their search results. It can take some time for search engines to reflect changes to things like your site’s tagline in their results. We have more about Search Engines if you’d like to learn more about that.

  I see you have Google’s Webmaster Tools set up. If your old tagline still appears in Google’s search results, you can try using their webmaster tools to update how your site appears there.
