Site taking too long to load and won’t allow change in admin email address

    I have two issues with our website.

    1. It is taking way too long to load when going to the site.
    2. The contractor I had help build the site set his email address as the admin email. I have repeatedly tried changing this with no success.

    Can you tell me the URL of the site? The site you indicated here, http://pttestdotsite.wordpress.com/, only contains the demo content that it was created with a year ago.

    It sounds like someone might have built a site for you using the open source version of WordPress at another hosting provider. If that’s the case, the WordPress.org forums that provide support for that software would be better able to help you – the forum you’re posting in now is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, and we can only help with WordPress sites on our servers.

    But if you can give the URL of the correct site, I’ll be able to confirm that for you and point you to the best place to get help with this.
